Quality of Metal
While we sell some high quality 316L Surgical Stainless Steel jewelry there is a slight possibility of a Nickel allergy. We mainly provide jewelry made with ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium. Tested for utmost safety and ease of use in professional body piercing applications.

External vs. internal threads
There's a debate in the industry over using external vs. internal threads for initial piercings. Our view on this, in our experience, is that when initially piercing it is best to use internally threaded jewelry as well as titanium. Although 316L Stainless Steel is surgical quality, it does contain nickel which can be toxic when left in the body for extended periods.
